§ 26-1. Charge for city ambulance services.

(a)

The per trip billing for city ambulance services shall be as follows:

(1)

Basic life support .....$450.00

(2)

Advanced life support .....$550.00

(3)

Mileage (per mile) .....$ 10.00

(b)

No charge shall be made for those persons whose income is 50 percent or less of the median family income level as determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Determination of eligibility shall be made by the city administrator/city clerk upon good proof shown. Appeal from the decision of the city administrator/city clerk shall be made to the city council, whose decision shall be final.
